HI All, diagnosed last Aug w/ 4th stage meta breast cancer, no organ involvement but in bones and lymph. Been on Chemo since, adramycin and taxol, RESPONDING WELL.Soon will end this group of sessions.. At first I couldn't even walk from pain in hip joints(tumor), now I am up and walking, driving. I am a Natural perfumer, study Kabbalah, love plants and flowers, design clothes in my mind, Theatre major in UCI , BA , gardens , cats, all wild things, Sag/scorp rising, aq moon, venus/nep conjunc in Libra.Used to teach, fundraise for NARAL (prochoice America)STILL, WANT TO KNOW ALL ANYONE KNOWS ABOUT ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS, HERBS, HANDS ON, DIET, ETC.I have been using mycomedicinal(mushroom) capsules from Paul Stamets, Host Defense by name. hi,just happened onto this tribe from "healing". i've encountered many people over the years who have transformed from cancer diagnosis. thing that comes to mind immediately is essiac tea(powder,cheaper,involves some boiling and sifting, or liquid). someone where i worked had cancer throughout his body and continued chain smoking(not recommended of course) and found it to be so successful he distributed it for no cost thereafter. he did not beleive in anything other than western medicine. sadly he died several years later due to taking dr prescribed drugs for nerve damage due to an injury he later sustained. he was in his upper 60's. there are books you can read in the health food stores about it essiac tea. and, it is something that has been studied by the medical eastablishment in canada for about 60 years i think(i'm recollecting) and given good findings.

Fri, June 22, 2007 - 3:26 PMmy father recently got diagnosied with adenocarcinoma of the eosaphagus. He is on chemo at the moment and I ahve started looking at using natural herbs and medicines to help with the healing and recovery.
What came to me first is plain wheat grass juice. Of course we have not tried it yet. But there seems to be a lot of research on this for cancer. We will start him on wheat grass juice soon along with other things.
